Well the first week of the holidays is over and what a week we have had. I think is fair to say that we are pleased to have had the bank holiday to rest to get ready for our Science week next week.
Monday started off with our Easter Bonnet parade and Bunny in a cup. The children loved making these and hiding the carrots.
Tuesday made a mess with the glue, balloons and wool. Was great fun and rather difficult to wind all of the wool around the balloons to make it stick. The children had a great time thou and enjoyed getting sticky and glue-y.
Wednesday was TRIP DAY! 🙂 We love trip days as they are always an adventure. This week Ashleigh, Karen and Paige took the trip to Bristol Museum. The children enjoyed looking at all the gruesome Egyptian Mummy stories, roaming around the animals and learning a lot about it all along the way. After we went up Cabot Tower and fed the squirrels. The view from the Tower is amazing and well worth a visit.
Thursday brought the Ninja bunnies and Easter cooking. Sharon D put us through our paces with Ninja bootcamp to burn off all the chocolate nest cakes that we made with Paige.
Its been a very very tiring week at SOOSA Playscheme and we are looking forward to seeing you all next week for our Experimental, Slime-tastic, Cola-explosive Week.
